Questa distinzione fondamentale influenza il modo in cui gli interruttori automatici e i fusibili operano per interrompere i circuiti difettosi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gli interruttori AC si basano sull&#039;elettromagnetismo: quando la corrente fluttua attraverso gli attraversamenti dello zero nella sua onda sinusoidale, il campo magnetico collassa e i contatti dell&#039;interruttore si aprono. Tuttavia, la DC non oscilla attraverso lo zero, quindi il semplice monitoraggio dell&#039;ampiezza della corrente non \u00e8 sufficiente per la protezione del circuito. Negli interruttori CA, questo \u00e8 in genere un tipo termomagnetico che rileva il calore e le forze magnetiche dal flusso CA. Al contrario, gli interruttori CC spesso utilizzano leghe di fusione o strisce bimetalliche per convertire la corrente in calore che espande fisicamente un meccanismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mancanza di un passaggio per lo zero di corrente significa che gli interruttori DC non hanno l&#039;assistenza elettromagnetica per estinguere in modo affidabile l&#039;arco quando i contatti si separano. \u00c8 necessario un meccanismo di compensazione che funzioni indipendentemente dalla direzione del flusso di corrente. In parole povere, gli scatti di un interruttore AC si basano su propriet\u00e0 esclusive della corrente alternata che non si traducono in applicazioni a corrente continua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Contact_Arcing\"><\/span>Contatta Arcing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un altro problema deriva dall&#039;arco quando i contatti del circuito si aprono. Gli archi CA si estinguono naturalmente due volte per ciclo quando la polarit\u00e0 si inverte. Ma gli archi CC continuano in modo costruttivo finch\u00e9 non viene forzata l&#039;interruzione, che pu\u00f2 riaccendere l&#039;arco se non viene rapidamente spenta. Questo fenomeno sottolinea la necessit\u00e0 di scivoli d&#039;arco integrati, sfiati o contatti specializzati negli interruttori CC per estinguere in modo sicuro le scariche ad alta energia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ratings_and_Sizing\"><\/span>Valutazioni e dimensioni<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le differenze hanno anche un impatto sulle dimensioni dei componenti e sulle impostazioni di scatto. A differenza della corrente alternata fluttuante sinusoidalmente, la corrente continua rimane costante in entit\u00e0 una volta stabilita. Quindi gli interruttori CC devono essere opportunamente classificati in base alle condizioni di carico effettive anzich\u00e9 essere fattorizzati per le variazioni di picco\/RMS della corrente alternata. La sottostima pu\u00f2 portare a guasti precoci o mancanza di protezione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tensione influisce anche sulla progettazione e sulle classificazioni dell&#039;interruttore. Mentre la tensione CA di rete \u00e8 standardizzata, i livelli CC variano ampiamente a seconda dell&#039;applicazione. I sistemi industriali possono utilizzare tensioni pi\u00f9 elevate che richiedono un isolamento rinforzato e l&#039;estinzione dell&#039;arco nei telai e nei contatti dell&#039;interruttore CC. La selezione corretta della classe di tensione \u00e8 fondamentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Approval_Considerations\"><\/span>Considerazioni sull&#039;approvazione<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vale anche la pena notare che gli enti normativi come UL offrono diversi standard di sicurezza dei prodotti per gli interruttori di potenza AC e DC, dati i loro principi operativi e le modalit\u00e0 di guasto diversi. Lo scambio di tipi di interruttori invalida qualsiasi certificazione o indicazione di sicurezza, sollevando problemi di conformit\u00e0 a seconda dell&#039;ambiente di utilizzo finale e delle richieste dei clienti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span><strong>Conclusione<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alla luce dei fattori tecnici esaminati qui, non \u00e8 consigliabile utilizzare un interruttore CA su alimentazione CC. Senza tenere conto di queste distinzioni, l&#039;interruttore potrebbe non fornire una protezione affidabile da sovraccarico o cortocircuito a causa di meccanismi di sgancio, prestazioni di arco e classificazioni dei componenti incompatibili.
